Jo Townsend

general manager investments, REST Industry Super

Jo is responsible for overseeing the range of activities which are required to support and implement the investment related decisions of the REST Investment Committee and Board. 

She oversees all investment related service providers to the Fund from the asset consultant and investment managers, to the custodian. 

Prior to joining REST, she worked at NGS Super and the Retirement Benefits Fund of Tasmania.

Jo started in the finance industry over twenty years ago in the investment management sector and used to be a fixed interest portfolio manager before joining the superannuation sector.

She holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst.
