Michael Chaaya

Michael Chaaya is a Partner and member of the firm’s Financial Services Industry Division Leadership Team. He provides regulatory and commercial advice to Australia’s leading financial services entities, including fund managers, superannuation funds, custodians, insurance companies and banks. He participates actively with key industry associations and is at the forefront of developments which impact on the industry domestically and offshore.

Michael has published extensively on financial services regulation and has appeared before a Federal Parliamentary Committee as an expert in the field. He is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School and lectures in financial services.
